Meet Bernie
Hi I'm Bernie! I am the sweetest old man you'll ever meet! Don't let me age fool you, I still have some spunk once I warm up! I love to play with squeaky toys and am always ready to go for a nice (slow) walk. I am house trained and crate trained. I am not big on snuggling, but once I get to know you I will be so excited to greet you when you get home and will happily indulge you in some pets and scratches. Just make sure I can see you coming because I'm almost completely deaf so I can't hear you coming. I can see pretty well but sometimes have trouble in the dark so I hope you don't mind keeping a close eye on me at night. Stairs are a challenge for an old guy like me, but with some encouragement and practice I can do it! I love other dogs but I'm pretty low energy in general. I'm looking for a calm, quiet home that can accommodate a sweet, senior boy with a cozy bed, occasional walks, and lots of toys and treats!
