Bernie Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler & Border Collie Mix West Valley, UT

Hi! My name is Bernie and I am a 6-8 month old Heeler x Border Collie mix puppy. I was picked up as a stray by a local shelter and no one claimed me. I was in the shelter for a long time and things were looking really bleak until Herding Haven took me into rescue. I am living in a foster home now and learning all kinds of new and wonderful things! I am learning that couches are very comfy and laps are fun to snuggle in! I am learning that other dogs are super fun to play with. I am learning that a doggy door gives me the freedom to come in and go out as I like. I'm learning that outside is where I go potty and poopy. And I am learning that a crate can be a cozy and comfy place to sleep at night. I am an active boy who needs exercise daily (physical and mental). My intelligence and athleticism would make me a pawsome dog for tricks training, agility or other doggy sports! I have already done some hiking on trials and I LOVE it! I stick right by your side and will come when you call me. I don't really care about cats and am very gentle with kids. I am neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on my vaccinations.
