Perfect Gentleman Alert ?

We found Bentley when his family could no longer care for him and at 9/10 years old, it broke his heart and ours that he had to leave.

He was taken into foster by a wonderful couple. They are loving their time with him but they have family dogs that visit and Bentley does not share toys well so he’ll be hanging with them until we can find the perfect home to dote on him and love him all the years he has left.

Now you may be wondering - how is Bentley with children since he doesn’t like to share toys with dogs? He is WONDERFUL! We’d actually prefer a home with kids so he can have all the love he once did. The resource guarding does not cross over to issues with humans.

Unfortunately no other pets for Bentley. But he can meet and hang with other dogs outside the home (as long as it is CLEAR of any toys, this is a hard no for Bent). He loves other dogs, he simply cannot be around them if there is something around that he finds of high value.

He is the best boy. He spent a bit of time at a boarding facility and the staff adored him, his fosters adore him, and we adore him. He has lots of energy, loves to play but also loves to snuggle. He loves walks and car rides and all the things anyone would want to do with their beloved pup. Don’t let his age fool you, he is full of life! He is the perfect companion!
