Benny is an adorable, curly haired little guy who is guessed to be about 3-years-old. With lots of spunk, he loves to run and walk!

While Benny is very friendly with all, he is looking for an adult home with no other pets, here is why: Benny has a history of resource guarding in his previous home when it came to toys and stolen items. While we have not been able to recreate this in the shelter, we respect his previous behavior and only want to set him up for success.

While Benny has some behavior that will need to be managed, we have seen a super outgoing little dog who enjoys his time with humans other dogs alike. He is working on housebreaking and has done very well. This smart little dog will dog great with consistency in his new home!

Like all curly haired dogs, Benny will need to be groomed regularly, something his new home needs to be prepared for.

Benny is really enjoyable to be around and will make someone looking for an active little pal very happy.

We never know how quickly a pet will be adopted. Open hours are Wednesdays 1:30-6pm and Saturdays 10am-2pm for you to come view our adoptable pets. You can apply for animal at the shelter during our open hours or online by emailing adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org and asking for an application. Adoption fees allow our non-profit to continue to help pets in need.

Meet and greets with animals are scheduled after applications have been processed and we’ve determined you are the best fit. We do not operate on a first come, first served basis.
