Benji Chihuahua & Pomeranian Mix Ashland, VA

Hello, my name is Benji. I'm a 10 year old Chihuahua mix born in March of 2014.
I will only be adopted to a household in the Richmond VA Metro area or counties adjacent to Hanover.

My elderly owner passed away and her family didn't want me, so I ended up at the pound. That's when my friends at Hanover Humane Society took me in to try and find me a forever home. Even though I'm 10, I look and act much younger. Most people think I look about 5 or 6 years old. I'm friendly, affectionate, and social with humans. I walk well on leash and ride well in a car. My only real negatives are that I will absolutely have to be the ONLY dog in the house - the bigger the dog, the more I want to go after it. (I was also tested briefly with a cat, but showed no interest in the cat), and I HATE to have my nails done. My previous owner had to take me to the vet to have them trimmed.
