Meet Benji

Benji is a 2+ year old beagle boy. He is one of the most laid-back young beagles I have ever met. He would be happy to have another young dog to play with, but he does not go around the house looking for things to get into when he is not entertained. Benji was an owner turn in when his owners had trouble getting things away from him. He has played exclusively with dog toys in his foster home and tug of war is his favorite game. He also plays fetch, actually bringing it back to you! He came in about 10 lbs. overweight so is on a reducing plan. He loves going in and out the dog door to explore the backyard and has never had an accident in the house. Benji does have a loud and penetrating bark so would not be good for shared walls. He gets along fine with his 5-year foster sister and his grumpy 13-year foster brother. He is strong and does pull a bit with excitement on his walks but settles down quickly. This handsome boy will make a wonderful companion for a lucky family.
