This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally.

Meet Bella Horne - a just over 3 year old, 65 pound, Mastiff/Plott Hound mix gal. Bella Horne was found as a stray way out in the country in Mississippi. This lovely girl has been looking for her forever family for three months now. It is shocking!

Her foster shares "Bella is a beautiful girl who is a little chunk! She loves people so much - she will always lean in for extra snuggles. And she lives by the motto 'belly rubs make for best friends'. She gets the zoomies every once in a while and then immediately has to take a nap. It is all so cute! Bella has done well with all the dogs here of every size. And loves kids too - she waddles around behind them for attention. She has not had accidents in the house using a doggie door. All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
