Meet Bella Girl
When you walk up to her kennel, she's ready to go, gently taking treats and even offering her paw as if to say, "Let's do this!"
Once outside, she's the perfect mix of playful and snuggly. She adores pets, happily leans in for affection, and gets the cutest case of the zoomies before coming right back for more love. She's got a goofy, puppy-like charm-chasing toys (fetch is still a work in progress), bouncing with excitement, and giving the softest, smushiest snuggles. Plus, she takes treats like a total lady!
Bella Girl is pure joy wrapped in a wiggly, lovable package-ready to bring endless fun and affection to her forever home! Could that home be yours?
Meet Bella Girl at ACCT Philly any day of the week from 10 p.m. - 6 p.m.

BEHAVIOR NOTES:
Walk sheet notes from 03/21/2025-03/25/2025
3/21 Bella Girl went out twice with volunteers and at least once with
a staff member. Volunteers noted her as having medium energy both
times. One reported her as having puppy-like manners and mild issues
with mouthing. They also described her as "very sweet, loves treats
and chasing toys," as well as "relaxed, playful, sociable and more
interested in people than treats." One volunteer also noted that they
passed two smallish dogs in kennels on the way back and she was
non-reactive.
3/22 Bella Girl went out with a staff member and had medium energy and
no issues reported.
3/23 Bella Girl had such a fun day! She went outside in the morning
with a volunteer who noted her as having medium energy and no issues.
They said she, "seems to like other dogs, loves treats." Then Bella
Girl went out for a day trip! Later in the afternoon, she enjoyed some
time in playgroup!
3/25 In the morning, BG went out with a volunteer who said she was
jumpy and leash biting. Then she went to playgroup in the afternoon
where she was described as a *playgroup superstar!* She was a
helper/greeter. She later went out with another volunteer who reported
having no issues and a *good dog meet* with Jesse James!
03/23/2025 staff notes, playgroup: Bella Girl is still extremely social and great with all the dogs she was meeting. She did have one conflict with another dog when they overcorrected her and she went after them. It may have been a personality conflict, or Bella was just very worked up at the time. It took her awhile to recover from the fight and seemed stressed after.
03/23/2025 volunteer notes: Bella Girl is an energetic gal who wouldn't sit still long enough to get some good pics because she was loving being outdoors! There was a alot of activity going on today with the photo shoot and she wanted to say hello to everyone she came across. She's a friendly and fun loving girl who would make the perfect companion.
03/20/2025 staff notes, playgroup: Bella Girl was a great helper in playgroup! She is very social with the other dogs, is appropriate, and able to give and take corrections well. She is a very stable girl!
03/21/2025 volunteer notes:
KENNEL PRESENTATION:
Bella girl was sitting on her bed at the back of her kennel. As soon as I approached, she walked towards me. I took out a treat and handed it to her. She took it very gently. I then showed her my leash and she put her paw up on the bar as if she was ready to go outside. I gave her another treat and told her to get down, which she did! She was super easy to leash and get out of her kennel. She did sit in front of me as soon as she exited, with a soft "let's go" she stood up and walked easily through the kennels to the door.
LEASH SKILLS:
Pulls moderately.
HANDLING: In the yard, Bella Girl sniffed around outside for a little bit before coming over to me for attention. Bella girl loves pets and affection. She allows all over handling from head to tail without issue. She can get a little jumpy and mouthy due to her excitement, but it's very playful and gentle, puppy like - she is easily redirected with a toy or a treat. She enjoys treats and takes them super gently.
Bella girl loves to play. She will chase balls and toys although she doesn't understand bringing them back yet.
No issues returning to kennel at all.
PLAY:
Enjoys play
TOYS:
Chases balls and toys but doesn't take possession.
03/20/2025 staff notes: this dog is very sweet but dont like to be picked up, i had to muzzle her to put her u. the truck
