Bella Beagle Mix Neenah, WI

Introducing pretty girl Bella!! This beautiful pup is a 6 1/2 year old beagle/hound mix. Bella is available for adoption due to no fault of her own. Bella's parents unfortunately had to make the difficult decision to surrender her due to their health declining and needing to move into assisted living. Bella is ready for another chapter with her next forever family.

Bella is what we call a ~social butterfly~ and does great with other dogs. She loves running around, playing tag, and getting zoomies out with friends. Bella's also known for snuggling up on the couch with all the other dogs in her foster home after playing for her second favorite pastime: nap time. Bella is great with sharing toys with dog friends, but does like to enjoy high value chews/ kongs in her kennel as she does resource guard them. Bella also does okay with cats, but does like to chase them and will stop at nothing to get to their food. Bella has done good with meeting older kids but hasn't been around kids under 6 yet.

Bella has some "true hound traits" such as loving to: be outside, smell everything, eat any food, and be around people. You will always find Bella with her nose to the ground and she is always more than ready to go for a walk to find new smells. Bella loves all/ any food and she is very treat motivated. This is helpful for training and has helped Bella learn a couple commands such sit, sit pretty, and helped her walk really nicely on a leash. This smart girl is also potty trained and crate trained. - Our shelter has open visiting hours for cats, however pre-approved application are needed prior to an adoption. Appointments may be scheduled with an approved application as well, otherwise we may not be able to accommodate same day adoptions.
