Meet Bella

Bella is a high-energy dog who loves car rides, running, playing, and giving kisses. Shes affectionate once she warms up and would thrive in a home with a large fenced yard. Despite having only three legs, she is incredibly fast and would enjoy a high-energy playmate or kids to play with. Longer walks can be hard due to her front leg, but she does well with short 10-15 minute walks and would benefit from joint supplements and physical therapy. Bella also does well with calm, dog-experienced cats and is comfortable being crated when left alone.

Bella has separation anxiety. After 2-3 months of routine, she adjusts, realizing her owner would return daily, and her anxiety lessens. Now, shes calm when left alone, as confirmed by neighbors and a camera, and has earned the comfort of a blanket in her kennel without tearing it. Bella still howls and barks, especially with new people, particularly men, which is being addressed in training classes.
