Housebroken: Yes, but has preferred to pee when off-leash in an enclosed dog run
Crate trained: She has done well overall in her crate overnight, after taking a short time to settle. She has not been left at home alone much yet so will need to work on this!
Leash walking: As Beela has become more confident, she has started to pull a little bit more on the leash so would benefit from working on this with positive reinforcement
Dog social: She has been friendly and curious when she encounters other dogs on walks, and has seemed most comfortable with calmer, bigger dogs.
Cat social: Unknown
Kid friendly: She has seemed interested yet unsure when she's had brief interactions with kids, and may do best with older kids who are a little quieter and calmer.


Beela likes:
- Using her nose on walks
- Stuffed toys!
- Learning new things in exchange for treats! She already knows down, sit, and stay!



Beela is a sweet, loving girl who is equal parts relaxed and playful. She has done well with independent play and can entertain herself with a stuffy, but she also likes to play tuggy and fetch with you. Watching her pounce after the tennis ball is hilarious, and it will melt your heart when she comes out of her crate in the morning looking for some affection. Beela does like to show affection on her own terms, but she will let you know when she's had enough and wants to lay by herself. She is not yet used to being home by herself, so will do best with a patient adopter who is willing to work on training her to tolerate longer periods alone. She is smart and food-motivated, so would love to continue learning in her new home.


Beela's adoption fee is $300, and she is eager to meet her forever family!
