Becca Rehome No Fee German Shorthaired Pointer & German Shepherd Dog Mix Nashua, NH

Becca is a nine month old mixed breed that had a DNA test done showing that she's 50% German shorthair pointer, 25% Australian Shepherd, and 26% German Shepherd. She weighs about 47 pounds.

Becca was adopted in June to a family in Maine, but she was too much energy for them. They had her a month, and when they decided to send her back, we found a New England Foster family.

Becca is currently living with a Foster Mom, other adult dogs and two kittens. She's been doing wonderful in her foster home.

We are looking for a home that will keep Becca exercised. We think that her first Adoption failed because she was bored and did not get any exercise or expend enough energy. She's still a puppy until she's two.

She is fully trained and does not bother anything in the home.

We prefer Becca goes to a home with a fenced yard. Please do not apply if you have an underground or invisible fence. They are not safe, they are not effective means of containment, they allow wild and roaming animals into the yard, dogs are killed running through them, and they can do psychological damage to some dogs.

Becca needs leash training or she can stay home and play in the fence yard. She's great in the car and her Foster said she takes direction well.

We prefer a home with older kids or no kids, not toddlers. And that's just because she has a lot of energy. She also knows how to settle down.

She's been good with the kittens at her foster home, there was a cat at her first home, however, we always ask that you supervise the animals when together.

If you have a decent sized yard and another dog, we believe she'd be a great fit for you.

She may do fine with an active person at home.
