This is a courtesy cross post for Maine's very own Franklin Animal Shelter located at 550 Industry Road, Farmington, Maine. This post is urgent, as the shelter is full. Please contact the shelter at 207-778-2638. Hours Monday -Saturday Noon to 4 pm.
***I'M BEAU! Please see my second photo for a complete bio. I'm a senior at about 7 years old and can be a bit goofy because after all I am a hound. I like to chase little critters (because that is what I was born to do) and I'm a little stressed in the kennel right now and would prefer to live in a home. BEAU is pretty good about his business in the kennel, and would just need a nice schedule to be house trained in the home.
Hounds tend to be pack dogs and prefer the company of other dogs their size, BEAU would like to meet any resident dogs prior to adoption. Hounds do better on a leash or in a fenced yard, not suited for apartment or condo living, alert bark, and are couch potatoes after a good run. BEAU is microchipped, neutered and up to date with vaccinations.
