Beau-Adopted! Shar-Pei Mix Mission, BC

Alison never gave up on Beau and will now be in his life forever! Beau has been adopted to a couple who she knows well and she will be able to visit him! An amazing commitment to Beau has found him a place in her life forever, just a bit further away than she had hoped! She of course wanted to keep him herself but this is the next best thing to that scenario!

Beau has been a superstar in his training classes and is so ready for a new home and to show off his great and many talents! Check out his video to see his roll over routine!
Beau will have continued training donated by his fabulous volunteer friend Alison who has a full house or would take him home herself! Beau has been having sleep-overs at Alison's where he shares his visits with three other dogs and a few cats too! He loves his sleep-overs, can't wait for training classes Saturday mornings and is now a well socialized, happy, eager to please boy who will continue to thrive in a home where his new family can continue to keep up the great work he and Alison have started.
Beau has been in limbo, in a shelter and in need of a new home for too long now! He is so ready for a family so please consider taking him home! You will have support, training set up and a dog who wants to show you all he has learned and all the love he has to give! What more could anyone want!

Beau's story:

Two of our volunteer TnT trainers have been working with Beau as have shelter staff and volunteers.
Beau was not socialized as a pup and was having some issues with dominance, especially with new people. Beau has come along way and in the right hands, is going to make a great pet. He needs an experienced owner who is prepared to continue his training and socializing. If you are his leader Beau wants nothing more than to please you! He is a smart boy, young, handsome, and loyal.

Once Beau knows you he is affectionate, eager to learn, devoted and goofy! He is good with other dogs and loves to play with the few he has met that have been a good match for his personality. When introduced to other dogs he will walk with them side by side looking to you for guidance. Although he may never be a "dog park" dog he is learning to be a social and polite dog with other K9's. Living with another dog, the right match in age and playfulness, would be a plus for Beau as he does like to play with other dogs his size and style. He would also be fine as an only pet looking to you to keep his social skills in check. Seeing and meeting other dogs and people is something Beau has not done much of but is doing well and keeping him social will ensure he becomes a well rounded boy as he ages. Beau is still a pup, only a year old, and has lots of time to learn and grow into a social dog.

Our trainers will be on board to help Beau transition into any future home.
