Beau Great Pyrenees Arlington Heights, IL

Beau is a neutered male Great Pyrenees born approx 7/21/23 and weighs 93 lbs. He is very sweet and loving, and looks at you with his soulful eyes. He enjoys being petted. We were contacted by another rescue and asked if we could find him a home. He had been living with a family with kids, which they said he was good with, but the owners kept him outside all the time, chained up mostly. The shelter was able to get them to relinquish him to find him a better life. He is housebroken in his kennel here. He doesn't chew up his bedding and plays with his toys. He loves all the attention we give him and is a very nice boy. He is now named Beau because he didn't have a name (unless you call "Dog" a name; I don't) (Beau is French for handsome and from where the breed originated). So when you come to visit him, he may not respond to the name yet but he will learn it (or a name of your choosing). He rode in a crate in our van and just chilled looking out the back window and didn't bark once. He also didn't mind other animals in the vehicle (obviously they're not together but he didn't care they were there). Because of his circumstances, tho no fault of his own, he may need some adjustment time learning the life of luxury we enjoy everyday of "life on the inside". Please consider giving Beau the life he deserves. He will reward you with a lifetime of love.
