In foster in Lacey, WA
BEAU (formerly Baxter) is a very good-looking young boy from a large litter dumped on the side of the road at about 5 weeks of age. There were 12 of them…5 chocolate and 7 black beauties! Vet estimates DOB 7/8/24 and thinks he will grow to about 45-60#. The last two photos are when he was a younger puppy. Other pics are from his foster home currently in Lacey, WA
Beau is sweet, loving, and submissive. He joined a family with 3 big dogs and he was adored, his adopter spent tons of training time, puppy classes, doggy day care. He even took a road trip to California and did great! After 6 weeks, one of the older dogs really began to bully him and the heartbreaking decision was made to find a new home.

UPDATE FROM FOSTER MOM :
Beau will hug you for hours if you allow him to! Whoever adopts him certainly wins the doggy lottery. He really is the best of both worlds—full of energy to run and play - but also enjoys quiet time with the family.
Not only is he gorgeous, he is a very good boy. He's housebroken and is all-around pretty well-behaved. Seems very easy to train, does well on a leash, has all of the basic commands. He literally loves everyone he meets including other dogs, cats, kids. He's still sleeping quietly overnight in a crate but can't wait to graduate to sleeping in bed with you!
***********************************************************************************
As with any dog joining your pack, please make sure that other dogs in the home will be open to their playful puppy energy.
Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention.

Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting.
All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog.
HOW ABOUT FOSTERING! If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters. You can sign up to foster at this link: https://shaynesrescue.com/foster-application/
This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose.
Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.
