Name: Beau
Gender: Neutered
Color: Black/White
DOB: 04/22/2020
Breed: lab/poodle/sheltie /shepherd mix
Weight: 35 lbs
Notes: Beau is a playful, inquisitive, and loving dog. He gets excited around new folks, other animals, and loves to zoom around the yard! He also loves when he is at home, relaxing, snoozing, lying outside in the sun, or being your TV watching buddy.
Beau is excitable on his leash if he sees other dogs, he will bark and react, and we walk the other way. He currently takes anti-anxiety medication to help with this. He also will always let you know if he sees a dog through the window and takes his job very seriously. We moved the chair away from the window to help with this.
Beau is housebroken and very tidy around the house. He is not destructive and does not need a crate because he is a great boy. He knows several commands: sit, stay, and shake. He loves treats and is a caring and smart pup.
He is in excellent health. We had his DNA done and it turned out he is a lab/poodle/sheltie /shepherd mix. The sheltie probably comes through the strongest personality wise, hence the herding and alerting tendencies. He truly is a lovely boy, and we do not want to see him go, but with a baby that is crawling and his sheltie instincts at play, it is not a good match anymore. He would make a great dog for a family with older children and perhaps blinds on their windows just kidding well not really.
There is an adoption process along with a donation.
