Meet Bear!

Bear is a sweet, snuggly senior hound who's looking for a place to rest his paws and enjoy his golden years surrounded by love. Bear came into our care when his former guardian's lifestyle changed, but now he's ready to find a new family who can offer him the comfortable, peaceful retirement he deserves.

At his heart, Bear is a total lovebug. He enjoys spending time with his humans, whether it's lounging on the couch, taking leisurely strolls, or just enjoying quiet moments together. Bear is happiest when he's showered with affection, and he'll repay you with loyalty and warmth in return. Though Bear is a gentle soul, he does have a few opinions - he's not a fan of being left alone for too long, and he prefers to be the only pet in the home, where he can have all the attention to himself. After all, he's earned it! He's looking for a calm, loving environment where he can be the center of attention and share his sweet nature without competition.

Bear may be in his twilight years, but he still has plenty of love and joy to give. If you're looking for a sweet, devoted companion to spend your days with, Bear just might be the the boy for you!

Children: Bear may be most successful in an adult only home.

Bear is available from an HSCC foster home! Please complete an Adopter Profile and visit our Adoption Center Tuesday - Friday 1 PM - 5 PM and Saturday 10 AM - 4 PM to arrange to see if he could be your new best friend!
