Meet Bear
Helllooooo! My name is Bear. And now that I am up for adoption, I am requesting the bear necessities or is that bare necessities, I want air conditioner, a couch, and all the comforts of the great indoors. But heck, I’m a dog, so I’ll still go outside, as long as it’s more like glamping, or glamorous camping where you still sleep inside
I am the biggest of my litter. My litter appears to be mostly Shepherd, Lab and Heeler. I got lots of colors on my patchwork coat. I am a cuddly teddy bear. I am at a very cute and awkwardly clumsy age, where my brain thinks faster than my feet sometimes.
Foster Mom says I am the biggest and also the handsomest of the litter, but do not tell my brothers, that is me and Foster Mommy’s little hush hush secret. I love all the normal puppy stuff such as chew toys and playing with my siblings.
Foster Mom says I am a bit more needy than the others and love attention. As a pup I have load of energy and of course will settle down as I get older, but be ready to give me lots of time and attention.
Foster Mom thinks I will do best in a home with a large yard where I can gallop and stretch my legs. And then cuddle down in the evening to watch movies. Since I am the biggest of my litter, I do sometimes use my extra pounds to push them around during dinner time, so if you have another dog, you will need to make sure I don’t do the same to them.
I am a bit of a food hog and attention hog, so I will do best in a home where I can be the main star, but do play well with others and get along with dogs. I am great with kids, but of course jumpy so training will be a must! I am a going to be such a good boy for you!
Basics:
Bear – male (wlll be neutered prior to adoption), Heeler/Lab mix, DOB 1/11/23, will likely be 45 lbs (bigger than siblings), good with dogs, curious about cats (needs work), great with kids (but jumpy), crate training in progress, potty trained, active, loves cuddles, enjoys a lot of attention
