Meet Beanie (Chainey)

Hi there I'm Beanie! I am a very smart and loving boy who wants to find my forever family. I would love a family with kiddos to play with me and give me attention. It has been a long journey but I'm not giving up hope! I'm a well-trained boy- I know "sit", "down", "off", "come here", "kiss", "stay" and a few more! I'm a really well-adjusted doggy- I am crate trained, house trained and leash trained. I am great on leash and even working on being off leash on walks! I just want to please my humans and I'll do anything for a treat or some cuddles. I love love love bouncey balls and playing fetch, it's my favourite! I love car rides, please let me stick my head out the window! While I do love to get my running in, I also quickly settle in the couch or on my bed when I get home. I love naps and cozying next to you. You can tell there is the sweetest soul in my eyes when I look at you. I love hard and get attached to my people.

I get along well with most dogs, but I'd prefer to be the only dog in the house because I get very attached to my person. I can get protective and possessive of my ball. I don't like my nails trimmed, but I've got them done a few times at the groomer. I am positive for heart worm but I have been on treatment since April 2024, and should have a negative result soon!

More about my story: One of the kind ladies here at Anna's Angels was called out to help me when I was found with a 4 lb chain embedded into my neck!! You read that right, it had completely cut my neck open and was stuck in there! I was in so much pain and really needed some help.

Luckily she told me that everything was going to be okay, and that she was going to get me the help I really needed, and sure enough she did! We went to the doggie doctor where I had surgery and a long recovery. I felt at peace, happy and pain free for the first time in my little life, and I haven't looked back since!

I am now ready to put all of that behind me and start over in my furever home! I'd like it to be with you, will you give me a chance?
