Bean is a roughly 1 year old terrier mix who weighs 32 lbs. He is full grown. He still has some puppy energy and loves to run and play. He was at a very high capacity high kill shelter and the staff, including the vet, begged me to save him because he was a staff favorite. He presented with some head trauma when he first came to the shelter that damaged his sinuses on the right side because he has some drainage from his right eye and right nostril. They were worried he wouldn't get adopted because of that. To me it's barely noticeable and I just wipe off the crusties once a day and that's all. He is such a great pup that gets along great with other dogs and with cats and he's a great size too. Easy to pick up, great for cuddling, big enough to go on walks, hikes, and other adventures without getting worn out. He walks well on the leash and follows like a champ off leash.
He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take him in or he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found.
