Meet Bea
Bea is a gorgeous and friendly Rottweiler that was found dumped in the woods with 4 others and ended up in a shelter. She is your classic stocky, long tail, German Rottweiler.
She is HW+ and starts her treatment 11/1/24. She arrived with a bite wound on her neck and required a drain and a heavy dose of antibiotics which she has completed. Despite this girls injuries she has never shown one ounce of aggression to people! She is great with my children and enjoys company.
We would prefer to place Bea in a home without cats or smaller dogs as she doesn’t realize her size (100lbs) and can be a rough player. She has gotten along wonderfully with every other dog she goes into a play yard with here in rescue.

***If you choose to adopt (before all vetting is complete) and use your own vet rather than our local Snip Clinic for these services, you do so at your own expense and it will not reduce the adoption fee. Adoption fees are NON NEGOTIABLE.
1.) All dogs are adopted to the best possible match and calling or emailing the rescue will not speed up the process or liken your chances of being chosen.
2.) You will be notified by adoption coordinator if your application is approved. Adoptions are set up by appointment only. We do not have “hours” of operation.
3.) If the dog is posted as Available on Petfinder, it is available but may have pending applications and meet and greets set up.
4.) If you are not ready to immediately meet the dog you are applying for, please do not apply- we are too busy for window shoppers! Every dog is available to be taken home with you at the time of the meet and greet.
5.) We recommend you bring a carrier with you to transport the dog home as some can get carsick. Adult dogs and most puppies over 6 months of age will require a slip lead.
6.) Adoption fees can be paid with Cash, Check, Venmo, PayPal and credit Card.
