Baya Labrador Retriever & Pit Bull Terrier Mix Seahurst, WA

Beautiful Baya is a senior girl who is quiet, gentle, and content with a relaxing nap. She doesn’t see or hear well but she has a great sniffer. She loves a treat and although she has a harder time getting up, she’ll venture toward her foster mom’s kitchen with a hopeful face indicating she’s ready for the treat she knows is waiting for her!

She loves going for her daily walks, and at her own pace, she walks on average a ½ mile, especially when the weather is cooler and not too warm. She enjoys meeting other dogs and her great nose tells her a new pup(s) is coming long before she stops and waits for them to say hello before continuing on with her walk.

She is potty trained and can go several hours, however, she prefers frequent potty breaks where she can stretch her legs too. Baya wears a harness for assistance getting up and for steadying her legs before going outside. It’s also helpful for when she goes up and down any stairs. Currently, going downstairs harder for her.
