Bay is a 1 year old lab/ pointer mix. She weighs about 50 pounds.

Bay and her sister, Remie, were found dumped alongside the road in a rural town in the South, and taken into rescue. Bay has a very sweet personality. She loves being with her person, playing with toys and exploring in the yard. Bay loves the water, swimming and going out in the family boat (when she lived in the south). She gets along great with other dogs. She loves to give kisses and enjoys any attention she can get. Bay is a smart girl. She is crate trained and housebroken and learning to walk nicely on a leash. She could use some further training on greeting new people politely and not jumping up on them or barking at them. She would do best with a fenced in yard because she gets so excited when she meets anyone on walks. She LOVES other dogs. It is easiest to just let her run around in a fenced yard.

Bay would do fine in a home with or without another dog. She does enjoy playing with another dog but she also loves getting all the attention as well. As with all of our dogs, she would do best with children 5 and older.

Adoption fee: $250.
Because we want to support further training for her, we have reduced her adoption fee from $450 to $250 to give adopters some support for training.

Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area.

If you wish to adopt our dogs, please complete an online APPLICATION. You must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.

All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered.
Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee.
Forever Home Rescue makes all of the transportation arrangements.

Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs.
Any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the South and will prefer to do their business outdoors.
Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old and up.
