Baxter (Baxter and Bailey brothers) Terrier Mix Lancaster, PA

Meet Baxter: Baxter is about an 9 month old (as of March 2025) terrier mix that weighs 29 pounds. Baxter was found with his brother (Bailey) on a country road at an abandoned run down house on the middle of winter. These babies were thrown out like trash and were scared - it took a rescuer a few days and many treats to convince them that it was ok yo come to them for safety. Now that they are safe with their foster, they have shown that they are happy, playful, loving pups! Baxter is currently in a foster home in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Baxter is a very happy boy! Baxter is very playful and full of wiggles and smiles when he hears you talk to him. Baxter enjoys a good cuddle with his person. Baxter is getting over his fears of being mistreated and is ready for his own family to shower him with the love he deserves. Baxter gets along well with other dogs and has done well with the 12 year old child he has met. We would love for Baxter to have a home with a fenced in yard to run and play freely. Baxter is working on his house training and is so close to having it mastered! Baxter is up to date on his shots and is neutered.
