Meet Baxter
Baxter is a 4 month old boxer mix. He’s come a long way since he came to foster. He uses a crate for eating and sleeping, he rides quietly in the backseat of the car, does well on a leash, not 100% housebroken but is doing excellent with that. Loves toys and bones, and his kong. He loves to play with his foster siblings, that range from 5 lbs up to 30 lbs. He does resource guard with toys and food, while we have been working on that and he’s made progress, he will need continued training in that area. He knows sit, no, and leave it. He loves to give kisses, and will follow you around and lay by you when you’re working or cooking dinner. He is a happy boy, always wagging his tail and happily greets everyone. He’s been exposed to dogs and cats and is fine with both.
