Meet Baskin Robbins

It's as if Baskin Robbins is making up for lost time, she is so loving. She greets you with her happy tail wag and gently does a jump stretch up to you for you to love on her and tell her she is a beautiful girl. She will make you feel special every minute you spend with her.

Baskin Robbins is a 2-year-old Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Terrier mix momma who raised her 11 babies and is now long overdue for a life on her own terms. She weighs about 50 lbs. and has brown eyes that melt your heart.

She came to us pregnant, and we don't know much about what her life was like before she was in foster. Toys are new to her, and she finally started picking them up to play after a few weeks in her foster home. Oh baby girl, it gets a whole lot better from here!

Baskin Robbins' favorite thing in the whole world? Someone telling her what a good girl she is. You can give her all the rubs and list all the ways that she's the best good girl -- ohhhh, she loves that so much! She also loves to be kissed! She will nudge her face close to yours, and if you're not kissing her, she will boop you with her paw.
She doesn't require a lot of exercise and is pretty chill. She will run around the yard a little bit, but that's all she seems to need. She is working on the leash, but so far it has been a bit scary for her. Baskin Robbins is crate trained and house trained, and she likes her kennel as her safe space, so she'll go in there even when she doesn't need to be.

Because she loves with her whole body, she probably should live with kids over age 5. She is quite slow to warm up to other dogs - it may take a few days - but once she knows them, she does just fine.

If you're looking for someone to shower with affection, then you should meet Baskin Robbins. You'll bask in her gratitude and all her snuggles, and she'll make you feel so good. She'll be spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and current on heartworm preventative and flea/tick prevention. Her adoption fee is $175. Apply to adopt her at PawsitiveTailsKC.org.
