Meet Bart
Bart is a one to two year old boy who was picked up as a stray and brought to our county shelter. When he was brought in to be neutered, he contracted pneumonia and was in critical condition. Apparently he was already sick when he was brought it to be neutered, and it went unnoticed. The vet clinic that treated him fell in love, and did not return him to the shelter. He has been in their care for over a month.
Bart is a super goofy and sweet pitty boy, full of energy and love. He is a very active dog, and loves to play. He will thrive in a family that can provide him with structure and training. He is a very strong dog, and will need a person who can manage his energy. He has not "officially" been cat tested, but doesn't seem to be interested in them, so this is unknown for sure. He is great with other dogs he's been in contact with.
Since Bart has been rescued, he had to have his tail removed due to damaging his tail in the kennel from "happy tail syndrome". So, he now has a cute "nub". We would love to find Bart a family that will love him as much as he will love them! Please let us know if that could be YOU!!
