Meet Barbara
Barbara came to us with her siblings - Cher and Marley - after being found abandoned. She sustained a fractured jaw prior to coming into our care, but we are happy to report that she is fully healed, and the orthopedic vet says she will live a very normal life!
Despite her trauma, is a very sweet pup! She is a little shy and timid in new situations, but once she warms up and feels safe, her personality SHINES!!
She is a lover who will greet you with lots of kisses, tail wags, and some pretty cute noises. Her favorite things are belly rubs and playing tug-of-war with other pups. She is slowly learning to trust people more, and is even becoming a fan of cuddling! Barbara is doing great with potty training and is learning basic commands!
Barbara has met dogs and puppies of all ages in her foster home and has done wonderful with them. She has also been around cats and has had good interactions with them as well. She has a lot to learn about being a house dog, and she finds so much comfort and confidence when having a canine companion. Barbara MUST go to a home that already has an adult dog.
Applications with NO adult dog will NOT be considered. Your adult dog will accompany you during the meet and greet, and lead the selection process. We heavily focus on chemistry and connection and not physical appearance or gender.
Adoption is $325, which includes spay/neuter at our vet when age appropriate, vaccines to date of adoption, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health.
