Bandit Siberian Husky Ocala, FL

Urgent! Bandit is a two year old Siberian Husky. He isn't fixed, yet, but we are working on that. He is true to his breed and boy is a nut. A good boy and a sweet dog. If you know huskies, you know he is an escape artist. He is quite the handful until he runs his energy out, a bit. He does exhibit food aggression (towards other dogs) but he is crate trained (and accustimed to taking his meals in the crate).

He is, otherwise, good with other dogs (he hasn't been around cats).



Bandit's foster took over his care on a temporary basis as a favor to the dog (and original owner). That owner never returned. This well intentioned friend is now the unsuspecting owner/foster of a high drive, unvetted esacape artist. This is one of the many calls we get, each week. Fortunately, Bandit has a committed caretaker and this allows us time to work.



A husky is an intense dog. They need an owner that seriously understands what they are committing to. A secure yard and a lot of stimulation and activity. Amd there will be grooming and hair. He will eventually start to simmer down (as he gets older) but right now he is full throttle. He needs a well matched adoptive family or a reputable rescue transfer. Located in Ocala FL
