Meet Balto & Alaska
Alaska and Balto came to us several months ago after being surrendered by their owner. They had never known life indoors, lacked social interactions, and were underweight. Fast forward to now, and these pups are full of life and have learned so much at their foster home. They are now ready for their forever families.
Alaska is an active, spunky girl who can be a little bit shy at first. Once she warms up, she wants nothing more than all your attention and affection. She loves to give kisses, cuddle, and to be anywhere you are. She also enjoys having conversations with you and howling to get your attention.
Alaska is a typical husky who is smart and active. She needs a family with an active lifestyle, a yard to play in, and a commitment to training. She is very smart and eager to please. She knows basic commands - sit, down, and paw!
She is cat friendly and dog-friendly to dogs who are smaller than she is. She would do great as an only dog, too! She is crate trained and potty trained.
Balto is a gentle, kind soul who will make the most loyal companion. He is timid at first, but given time to warm up, he will be your best friend.
When he isn't playing or exploring outdoors, he loves to nap, cuddle, and be near his people. He is a good balance of active and snuggly, so he would do best in most homes.
He is smart and food motivated, so he already knows many basic commands - sit, down, high five. He is crate trained, potty trained, and friendly to all humans and cats.
When applying, you are applying to meet both puppies in the litter, not just a specific puppy. Your adult dog, if you have one, will accompany you during the meet and greet, and will help select which puppy is the best match. Adoptions are based on connection and chemistry, rather than physical appearance or gender.
Adoption is $325, which includes spay/neuter at our vet when age appropriate, vaccines to date of adoption, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health.
