Bailey Terrier Lacona, NY

Does everyone remember Bailey the little terrier mix we took back in February? She is doing well but could really use some one on one time to burn some puppy energy. This sweetie is ~20# and likely a Yorkie mix of some blend who likes to go go go and hasn't met a person that she didn't like. We took Bailey on a play date this weekend and she did great with one of our other available pups, Mya.

Bailey is predominately housebroken and seemed to do well as a playmate for an active dog. She is rough and tumble yet submissive and knew when to call it quits when playing. She really is a good good girl just needing some guidance, love and a place to call her own! Maybe yours?

Due to her age, size and personality, foster or foster to adopt homes should have the following:

•Be located within 100 miles of Adams NY so that she can get follow up veterinary care, if needed.
•Have previous and current pets in annually at a local veterinary office and up to date on vaccines as well as spayed or neutered.
•We are unsure how she is with cats but active dogs and older kids in the home should be fine!
•Potential foster to adopt homes need to be willing to have current dogs and family members come to a meet and greet to meet me and be sure it's an acceptable match.
•Have time available to care for, socialize and start the training of a new pet.

Fostering is free, but if you choose to adopt in a few weeks, an adoption donation of $400 is being asked at time of adoption to help cover veterinary and care fees. She has been examined, vaccinated, started on flea, tick and heartworm preventative, been dewormed and has been spayed.

Adoptions limited to an 80 mile radius of Adams NY and pets must be viewed in person by all family members prior to adoption; animals will not be shipped to their new homes.
