Meet Axel

Fun loving, bid dog who thinks he is tiny! Absolute gentleman and playful “puppy”- these all describe Axel. He was on his own scavenging for whatever he could find for at least 5 months of his first year of life. Though difficult to trap, he warmed up quickly and found that life inside is AMAZING! Axel now loves people and play dates with other dogs. He will need a forever home that is prepared for the likelihood that he will need knee and/or surgery in his future. Due to his poor start early in life, he already shows signs of weakness in these joints and will need reminding that he is not “Superman”. Trust us though- HE IS WORTH IT! Axel is absolutely amazing!!
