I’m Ava, a full grown 2 year old weighing in at a whole 35 lbs. I was found on the mean streets of Southern Illinois. My time almost came to an end as my name was on that “e” list until my foster stepped up and now my future can be rewritten.

I identify as being a big dog. Idk what it is, but small dogs are just sketch. There is only room for one little baby in life and thats me.

I also identify as a professional couch napper, adventure seeker, toy chomper, snack connoisseur, and a people pleaser

In my free time I enjoy learning all things obedience - sit , down, stay, off, come, and more!! Learning things is one of my favorite hobbies. I really want to go to school (training classes) with you so I can show you all the cool things I can do and how fast I learn.

Work long hours? No problem, I am a good homebody and will welcome you home with body wiggles and joy.

Work from home? Perfect, I also know how to self entertain and do great in a crate if you need alone time!

I am kinda all that and a bag of chips and am looking for someone to snuggle with and keep warm through out the rest of these cold months. Could that person be you?

All dogs are brought current on their vaccinations up to the point of adoption. Parasite protection is also done with dewormings, flea/tick prevention application, and heartworm prevention. If old enough a heartworm test is done. The spay/neuter and microchip are included in the adoption fee. All our dogs go to their new homes with their collar/leash, dog bed, favorite toy(s), bowls, and some food to acclimate them. For the safety and convenience of our foster homes and their orphans, we will only consider applicants that are within a 100 mile adoption radius.
