Ava is a lovely 4 year old and about 48 lbs full grown. Ava is a sweet girl that loves pets and will nudge your hand just to get more! She is a doll but would do best in a home that can help build her confidence with time and patience.

The adoption fee of $250 includes spay/neuter, rabies vaccine, distemper/parvo combination vaccine, bordetella vaccine, deworming, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, flea preventative, and a microchip.

You can always expect to do training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. Expect a 10+ year financial, physical, and emotional commitment to this canine. We provide a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this. All dogs and especially puppies are a lot of work and a long financial commitment. Please research what it means to have a dog and make sure a dog is still going to be an important part of your life in 10-15 years. All dogs and puppies need a lot of patience and guidance.

Most dogs who are in shelters will need an adjustment period after adoption. No matter how nice our shelter is and how much attention they get from our volunteers, it is not a home and they will need time to acclimate and get rid of some nervous energy.
