Meet Aurora, a dog that has waited over 7 years to be properly loved. Aurora came to us on one of the coldest, snowiest days of the year. Her previous owners informed us that she lived outside on a chain her whole life. The pictures we received of her standing in the snow were enough for us; we knew this girl deserved more!

Since Aurora joined the AHHS, we have discovered what a loving, happy dog this is! She is joyful and friendly to every dog, cat, and human that crosses her path. Yes, she's considered a senior, but don't let that fool you! She's got quite a lot of energy and LOVES playing outdoors! She would make someone the best hiking buddy ever.

Aurora deserves a home in which she can live out the rest of her years comfortably and, most importantly, indoors!
