Cuddles and bellyrubs are my favorite! I like nothing better than to sit next to a human and nudge my nose up for rubbin’.
My name is Aurora, but I like to go by RuRu. I’m a 2 year old Labrador/Pitbull mix. I weigh about 40 lbs when I am at a healthy weight. Purple PAWS is helping me a bit with my weight being too low.
I am pretty good with other dogs, but I like to prove my dominance and am very protective of my humans. I am not good with small animals, but small humans are ok. I would be great as a single dog. Reactive to dogs on the street. I am very playful.
My owners kept letting me get picked up by the shelter off and on for a year. Then one day they didn’t come back for me. 44 days later I found myself on the euthanasia list labeled urgent. Purple PAWS scoped me up to find me a loving home.
I am a very curious dog. I like to surf the counter tops and stick my nose where it doesn’t belong. I’ll also follow you into every room.
I am not entirely potty trained, but I do know how to use a potty pad.
I LOVE food but haven’t been known to be aggressive towards other dogs. I do require a slow feeder (aka puzzle) bowl.
