Meet August Annie
August Annie is an around 5 year old Dachshund mix. This sweet girl has hung up her breeding shoes and is solely focused on her new path as someone’s best friend. August was found as a stray and was terrified in the shelter, but has since shown us her obsession with her person. She will bark, bounce, dance and wag her tail with excitement when her person comes home. She is fine hanging out with other dogs but isn’t a big playmate, as she is very person focused. Unfortunately her obsession also applies to cats so she will need to be in a home with no feline family members. August Annie is crate trained and house trained with consistency. She loves affection, chilling, and Nylabones. She does have a slight nervous streak with new things and small children so a calmer, child free home would be best for her.
