Meet Athena

Athena & her 7 siblings were rescued several weeks ago after being dumped in a pasture in a rural area in Mississippi. The property owner had nowhere else to put them other than a horse trailer on her property. Luckily, our partner shelter in Mississippi was able to find fosters & get them safe & vetted. The pups were full of intestinal parasites & emaciated. They were so hungry they acted like piranhas when food was placed in front of them. They are now happy, healthy, and ready to make their way to New England!

Athena is the bossiest puppy of the bunch, she'll make sure to let you know that she is the boss! She's obsessed with her squeaky toys, playing outside, and following her foster mom around the house!
She also loves her snuggle time!!

We expect Athena to arrive mid-February!
