Astro is a loyal and intelligent Australian Cattle Dog/Heeler mix looking for a loving forever home. He can become anxious and possessive of his person.

Astro has amazing recall and knows several commands, including sit, down, and stay. He walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys spending time with his human. However, he does require an experienced owner who can manage his anxiety, especially when left alone. A steel kennel has been used in the past to help him cope with being left alone.

All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before they leave the shelter.
