Aster Shepherd & Corgi Mix Oklahoma City, OK

This cutie is Aster!

Aster is an approximately 3-month old male Corgi/Shepher/Terrier mix who currently weighs around 13 lbs. and will weigh around 40-45 lb. as an adult Aster (best guess)!

Aster came to the rescue after his foster found his mother Poppy & his siblings at abandoned in downtown OKC at just 1-month old. Since coming to his foster home he has had time to learn and grow into an amazing puppy; cute, spunky, & playful!

Aster can usually be found playing with his siblings or toys and once he is worn out he loves a good nap! He loves “investigating” all the things and reporting his findings back to his foster mom! He is silly and sweet and perfect for someone who loves to laugh at puppy antics. When he is done playing, he loves curling right up next to you for a long nap.

Aster is working hard on house training in his foster home, but like all puppies, he has a small bladder and currently is only able to go without potty breaks for 3-4 hours during the day and 5 overnight. His ideal home will have someone ready to continue a consistent routine/structure with house training and learning manners.

Puppy training is a time consuming process that requires patience, and his perfect home will understand that he needs consistency, structure, and training and be able to put that time in while he is young.

Aster’s current favorites include:

Playing with toys
Running/ “wrestling” with the other dogs in the home
Exploring outside/“stealing” leaves and sticks
Puppy chews & treats
Naps & belly scratches

Aster’s ideal forever home will have another playful dog and maybe even some dog savvy/older kids of his very own! With continued puppy training, Aster is going to make the PERFECT life-long companion!

Aster is neutered, current on age-appropriate vaccines, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $225.
