ASPEN - blue-eyed beauty Husky Baltimore, MD

Hey there, husky lovers! Please let us introduce Aspen! If this gorgeous girl could talk, she'd have a sad story to tell. The poor pup was raised in a very negligent situation - tied outside in the yard and living on scraps. She was skin and bones when a local policeman discovered her awful circumstances and convinced the owners to surrender her. She is now in foster care with a kind family and has been receiving lots of TLC while she waits for a place to hang her leash forever.

Aspen is 2 years old and is up to a healthy weigh of 56 pounds...every ounce filled with sweetness! That pretty face and those beautiful blue eyes are hard to resist. She's house trained, walks well on a leash and is crate trained. She isn't especially fond of spending much time in a crate, but is well behaved and rarely needs to. This darling girl adores children and is gentle around all kids - even toddlers. She's also very respectful of the other dogs in her foster home.. A home with cats would be not for this girl...she thinks they're for chasing.

Aspen loves being outside. A home with a fenced yard and a doggy buddy to play with would be ideal. Typical of her breed, she also needs exercise and will thrive with an active family to take her on regular walks and adventures. Her foster says she's unusually calm for a husky and is also content to be a couch potato at times..

Aspen has been spayed, micro-chipped and is up to date on vaccinations.
