Meet Arwen!

A delightful three-year-old Belgian Malinois from Uniontown, OH, whose playful spirit and boundless energy shine through her fawn sable coat. Arwen is the perfect blend of sweetness and smarts, always eager to please and quick to capture your heart! Her intelligence is impressive, and she’s already mastered basic commands like sit, come, stay, drop it, and leave it. With her sharp mind and high energy, Arwen loves nothing more than diving into playtime with any toy or stick she can find—even those bigger than herself!

True to her breed, Arwen is an active pup who thrives on mental and physical stimulation. She’s not very vocal, preferring to “chirp” when she wants your attention rather than bark. In fact, barking is a rare event for her, which makes her a wonderfully calm companion indoors. However, her natural herding instincts mean she’s more suited to families with older children, as she sometimes tries to corral the little ones in her playful, yet harmless way.

Arwen’s time with a live-in trainer has given her a solid foundation, but she’s still working on perfecting her focus. She has a short attention span, which means she’ll benefit from continued training and positive reinforcement. That said, her sweet and affectionate nature makes the process enjoyable for everyone involved. She’s crate trained and even prefers the security of her crate for sleeping, which is a plus for her new family’s routine.

With her high energy and need for interaction, Arwen would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and a family who can dedicate plenty of time to her. She hasn’t had much experience with other dogs or cats, so a slow introduction would be key if she’s to share her home with other pets.
