Artemis Anatolian Shepherd Cypress, TX

Introducing Artemis! She is a beautiful three-year-old Anatolian shepherd who found herself living in the retention pond of a business park. A community effort was made to feed her and gain her trust. While she enjoyed hanging out near people, she lacked the courage to trust them and kept herself just out of reach for months.
Artemis, or Artie for short, is still learning to trust people and will require a lot of patience. She has been enjoying house life and likes having a familiar routine. She has learned to love beds and toys, which both seemed unfamiliar to her at first. She loves playing with other dogs and would do best in a home with a furry friend. Loud noises and high activity are scary, and she likes a calm, quiet home. She did well in a crate, but she has no problems spending the day loose in the house. A yard is a must have, as she is not yet ready to walk on a leash. Her favorite hobbies include gardening and evening zoomies.
Artie is looking for a quiet home where she has time to adjust to her new family. Once she does, she’ll be the best girl you can ask for!
