Arrow is a beautiful and energetic dog who is between one and two years old. He is a large dog and weighs in at a whopping 72 pounds. Despite his size, Arrow thinks he is a medium dog and doesn't seem to realize how big he is. When he stands on his hind legs, he towers over most people. Arrow is an intelligent and loyal dog who is always eager to learn new things. With consistent training and positive reinforcement, he is a quick learner. Arrow loves to run and has a lot of energy to burn. He would make an excellent running partner for someone who enjoys jogging or going on long walks. Although Arrow does well walking on a leash, he sometimes forgets that he's not in charge and can pull a bit. However, with some additional training, he can easily overcome this habit. Arrow is a playful dog who enjoys spending time with people. His favorite game is tug-of-war, and he loves to play with toys. With proper care, lots of love, and attention, Arrow can make a great loyal companion for someone who is willing to give him the time and attention he deserves. It's worth noting that Arrow is up-to-date on all his vaccines, negative for Heartworm and Lyme disease, and has been neutered.

Thank you for looking at dogs from the Guernsey County Dog Warden Dept. We are a county run facility in Cambridge, OH, we are NOT a no kill shelter! Unfortunately, we must euthanize due to illness or aggression. Adoption fees are $165 for dogs under 5 years old, $100 for dogs over 5 years old and $200 for cell dogs. Adoption fees include, Vaccine (dhpp), Bordetella, Microchip, Heartworm and Lyme testing, Rabies vaccine, Spay/Neuter and a dog license. Dogs will be required to be spayed/neutered before leaving shelter, if not an appointment will be scheduled before leaving the shelter. Please talk to shelter staff for more information.
We only accept cash. We cannot take checks, debit or credit cards. You may also call the shelter: Office hours are Tuesday-Saturday 9am-5pm. Shelter public hours for visitation are Tuesday-Saturday 11am-4pm. Applications can be emailed or faxed if requested. If coming from out of town, please call ahead to make sure the dog is still available. Approved rescues also welcome!!!!
