Meet Arlin

Something tells us Arlin has lived a hard life. He is terrified of loud noises and sudden movements, and flinches and flattens himself onto the ground. He doesn't seem to understand the concept of being petted, but he is slowly learning to like it. He doesn't seem to know what a bed is, or what to do with toys. His neck is rubbed raw from an old collar that was on too tight. He is also recovering from a big laceration on his leg, which the vet assumes is from being hit by a car. All in all, he's kind of a hot mess.

Has Arlin given up? Absolutely not! He is your typical happy, adventurous hound dog! He has so much soul in those big golden eyes, (which happen to be two different colors). He needs a patient, compassionate adopter, and would greatly benefit from a foster home.
