Meet Ares: Future Gentle Giant ? (His sister Athena is also available for adoption.)

Introducing Ares and Athena! These remarkable German Shepherd siblings, born on January 12, 2025, just celebrated their 8-week milestone this past Sunday. Already showcasing their strong, healthy growth, Ares tipped the scales at 17.1 lbs while Athena weighed in at 14.6 lbs last Friday. They’re on track to grow into stunning adults, with estimated full-grown weights of 70–85 lbs.

These puppies have had age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming but will require boosters and deworming on their puppy schedule. They will also be microchipped and come with a spay/neuter contract, requiring them to be altered at 6 months of age. They also will come with a free month of pet insurance that starts immediately with no waiting periods.

Given their breed, German Shepherds are powerful, intelligent working dogs that thrive with appropriate exercise, training, and socialization. To ensure Ares and Athena are set up for success, we are including mandatory professional training (included in the adoption fee) for both puppies once they have completed their required vaccinations. This step is critical to ensure they develop into well-trained, well-socialized companions.

We are seeking adopters who have experience with the breed or working dogs, as their unique needs and energy levels are best matched by those familiar with the responsibilities of raising such dynamic dogs.
