Meet Archie
Archie is a young and playful border collie mix that was found as a stray. While he can be timid at first, once he’s sure he can trust you, he is very friendly. Border collies are extremely smart and active breeds who love having a job to do! Their herding instincts are bred into them from birth and as such it is not uncommon for them to take up herding their smaller human companions and other pets. They benefit from having jobs and exercising daily!
All adoptions are by appointment only. If you would like to meet Archie, please request an adoption form via PetFinder Inquiry. Once we have been notified of the request, someone at the office will email you an adoption application to fill out and return via email. Once we have received the filled-out application, someone from the office will contact you regarding a day and time to meet at the shelter
All adoptions are $10. There is a $50 spay/neuter deposit for dogs, which is fully refundable upon proof of spay/neuter. Spaying/neutering shelter animals is required by California law; it is not optional. In California, dogs are required to have current rabies vaccinations and must be licensed in their county of residence.
