Meet Apollo
Apollo: 1-year-old adventurer and cuddle connoisseur! This sweet boy busted out of the shelter on 1/21/25 and recently embarked on a 15-hour road trip! He charmed everyone he met (human and canine alike) and proved to be the perfect travel companion - eating, playing, snoozing, and just generally being a superstar.
Now settling into his foster home, Apollo's days consist of playful romps followed by instant cuddle-induced naps (it's like serotonin on paws!).
This gentle giant gets adorably excited when his humans arrive, and while he's not much of a barker, he loves his cognitive toys. He's currently working on his house-training skills and prefers to hang out outside of a crate (he's not a fan!).
His ideal day? Hanging with his favorite human, a good walk, playtime, and then snuggling up for a cuddle-fest. Stay tuned for updates from his foster family!

Out of area adopters (outside of DC, MD, VA and PA) will be considered on a case by case basis and will be required to come to the foster location for an in-person meet-and-greet.
