Meet Apollo! Apollo came in as a stray from the Granton area with Hera at the beginning of October. This handsome German Shepherd is estimated to be 8 years old and weighs about 93.4lbs currently. Don’t let his age fool you, he is as playful as ever! Apollo loves to play fetch and will go for hours if you let him! Despite coming to us as a stray, this intelligent guy knows his basic commands and would love to demonstrate them for you. Apply for Apollo today!

The adoption fee is $200. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption. CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going.
